Animation Technology

Experience the real world of broadcast and multimedia production through hands-on laboratory and studio operations. Students will learn producing, editing, directing, interviewing, and reporting skills.

Students will produce, audio, video, multimedia productions such as:

  • Music Videos
  • Newscasts
  • Dynamic Commercials
  • Informational Videos

Learn job skills used everyday in the Broadcast Media career field:

  • Gain a real idea of how the broadcasting industry works
  • How to handle equipment and run a camera
  • Lighting design
  • Producing
  • Directing
  • Script editing and development
  • Media literacy

Upon semester completion of the Broadcast Media Program, students will earn 1.5  Elective Credits towards their Washington State High School Diploma. Students may take the class in both Fall and Spring semesters, earning 3 Elective Credits in a school year.
